Devonshire Partnership was appointed to advise a developer on complex party wall and neighbourly matters relating to the proposed development of a new luxury housing scheme in a period mews, in Notting Hill, London. The development included a double basement across the entire site.
We provided strategic party wall and neighbourly matters advice from design stage, to ensure that the Party Wall Act and risks in relation thereto were identified and fully considered throughout the design process.
Following service of notices, complex technical and financial negotiations with the adjoining owners were successfully completed well in advance of program. Devonshire Partnership was involved throughout the construction phase, including advice relating to the construction of a basement by one of the neighbour’s immediately adjoining the development, which was constructed at the same time.
