Devonshire Partnership was appointed to undertake a pre-acquisition survey of this ten storey office building located in the City of London. 

 

At the time of inspection the property was undergoing a significant internal refurbishment to the occupied office accommodation including renewal of the air-conditioning system. The property had previously been substantially reconstructed in the early 1980s.

 

Devonshire Partnership’s expertise in the field of technical due diligence enabled us to advise in respect of the pre-acquisition building survey and to negotiate an appropriate legal mechanism for monitoring the refurbishment works on behalf of the purchaser through to completion as part of the deal. Advice included advising on the future anticipated life and remedial works of a 30-year-old curtain walling and cladding installation.
