Devonshire Partnership acted for the largest photographic film company in the UK to mitigate their dilapidations claims.

Our client, the tenant, leased two large sites and was presented with substantial dilapidations claims for both. Devonshire Partnership firstly analysed the leases in order to understand the tenant’s theoretical dilapidations liability. Thereafter, we inspected site with a team of services engineers in order to put the liability in context on site. We reported back to the client and working with their section 18(1) valuation surveyors, were able to significantly reduce the  dilapidations claims.
