Defect analysis and planned preventative maintenance advice regarding City of London office building.
Following a number of instances of water ingress to this 20,000 sq ft nine storey office building in the City of London, Devonshire Partnership was asked by the owner to investigate and propose remedies for the water ingress and also prepare a 10 year planned preventative maintenance schedule for the property as a whole.
We prepared a fully-costed schedule of the anticipated maintenance works required to the external fabric and internal common parts of the building. The schedule will be used by the client to budget expenditure over the next 10 years, in order to proactively protect the client’s longer term investment in the property.
During the process we also identified works that would improve the thermal performance of the building to enhance energy efficiency of the asset and reduce energy costs for the tenants.
