Devonshire Partnership

What we offer

Devonshire Partnership are Chartered Building Surveyors and Project Managers who like working with committed and involved clients who share our enjoyment and desire to deliver projects.

Our services are designed to suit your needs and delivered by experienced professionals. We want to give you a personal, independent and fully evaluated service with the best possible solutions to meet your commercial and time constraints.

We work best by being 'hands on', working closely with you and the project team, pooling considerable experience on all types of commissions as project managers, employer's agents, contract administrators or general property and construction advisors.

Our past projects have included work on City banks and institutions, schools and colleges, diocesan and charity properties and numerous prestigious private houses. Much of our work is repeat business based on our clients' full confidence to share their goals and aspirations with us.

Project Management

Our experience tells us that understanding the commercial and technical dynamics of your business is the key to translating your needs into successful projects.

By working with many different professional advisors and contractors, we have accumulated knowledge over the years to enable us to manage and deliver each project to its anticipated and planned conclusion.

As no two projects are the same, the scope of our involvement will match any new challenge. What is consistent is our ability to consider each project on its merits and arrive at an innovative, tailored solution.

Commercial

We provide project management and contract administration for fitting-out and refurbishment projects. Preferring to work closely with you to develop and implement exciting and viable schemes.

We have considerable experience in relocation, fitting–out and refurbishment and we are sensitive to the opportunities that period buildings offer.

Educational

We are able to listen and understand your specific requirements and when allied to our commercial and professional expertise we can deliver unique solutions and successful outcomes. By focusing on project delivery and implementation of strategies we are equally comfortable working on large or small projects, new builds or refurbishments, in either the secondary, tertiary or quaternary sectors.

Charities & Ecclesiastical

We recognise the unique culture and ethos in ecclesiastical organisations and charities and the importance of how you are represented, so when dealing on your behalf we will not compromise your interests in any way.

We have provided and implemented programmes of planned maintenance, refurbishments and major building repairs and negotiated in party wall matters and dilapidations in churches, presbyteries, retreats and halls.

Residential

Your home is one of the most significant financial investments of your life. However, if your primary interest lies elsewhere it is difficult to keep an eye on the risks that may occur in refurbishments or new builds.

We take a questioning but constructive approach to each project based on our experience that allows you to get on with your life while ensuring your project ends up exactly as you anticipated.

Consultancy Services

In all transactions, involving property and land there are numerous and often complex negotiations required to achieve success.

Our professional approach, utilising our knowledge and expertise will achieve the right result for your needs. This means that we can identify your individual requirements and tailor our services to match your objectives.

Awards

We were the project managers for the team that won the RIBA/LSC Sustainability Award at the RIBA/LSC Further Education Design Excellence Awards 2009 for the remodelling and refurbishment of The National Skills Academy for Financial Services, for Tower Hamlets College.

In the judges’ view we had best addressed the sustainability agenda with reference to factors including improving energy efficiency and minimising the carbon footprint.

We also received Highly Commended for "an imaginative re-use of an existing building" in the overall RIBA/LSC Further Education Design Excellence Award.

This partially listed Grade II Victorian building on the East India Dock Road desperately needed restoration and the design team had to maintain the original timber structure whilst providing a modern, professional space for students to learn.
